The main goal of LEGIO.filters is to ensure that systems are completely free of Legionella bacterias without usage of disinfectants.

Fact is:
No matter how much microbial polluted the water was before the filtration, an infiltration of bacterias and clouding is not possible any more after the LEGIO.filter.

Legionella, bacterias and clouding have no chance of remaining in the system. After the first filter circulation is completed everything is filtered. Sediments are reduced along the way. Like this the basis for nesting of the biofilm is reduced and thus the basic nourishment for Legionellas is gone.

Legionellas live in a microbiological community. They are not able to live isolated, so if their basic nourishment is taken away from them, they will not be able to propagate.
