The conditions for keeping drinking water really free of legionella, e.coli bacteria and other pathogens without using chemicals, electro-chemical or thermal effects can be realised using our self-cleaning LEGIO.filter. This separates bacteria, i.e. legionella, out of the water flowing through it. However, LEGIO.filter does not only remove bacteria and particles, it also prevents viruses and other organic loads from entering the subsequent drinking water systems. Nevertheless, it lets through loose substances such as metal. This merely means that micro-organisms found in the systems, which are the basic source of nutrition, are virtually completely abstracted. This causes a reduction in the thickness of the biological film layer, which is the basic source of nutrition for legionella.
The taste of the drinking water will not be altered.
